Line Cook

A.M. AND P.M Line Cooks:

The Hopleaf is looking for Full and Part Time Line Cooks. Candidates should be enthusiastic, detail orientated and energetic individuals who take great pride in putting out good looking and consistent plates . You will be responsible for food preparation, proper cooking techniques, sanitation and stocking. The Hopleaf values their employees by providing a safe, constructive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the preparation of all menu items 
• Prepare menu items and necessary ingredients according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests and presentations 
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and maintain food safety and quality standards 
• Maintain menu item counts and communicate to management and service staff when quantities fall below restaurant specific minimum quantity 
• Accurately account for all items coming out of their station 

Qualifications 

• Ability to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including daytime, nights and weekends 
• Team player with a positive attitude 
• Ability to stand/walk for an entire shift 
• Lift and move up to 20 pounds
