Job Summary:

• Required Qualifications: Completion of a formal, structured program for Surgical Technology; Licenses: BLS Basic Life Support, CST Certified Surgical Technologist preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The Surgical Technologist acts as a member of the surgical team in providing patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Prepare the appropriate instrumentation and materials for use on the surgical field, pass instruments to the surgeon during the procedure, and assist with room turnover. Maintain sterile technique, monitor for breaches, and assist in surgical counts to ensure safety and efficiency. The role requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sterile procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively with the team. Candidates must adhere to all hospital policies and safety standards and take accountability for their professional growth.
