Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential speech and language services throughout the school year. In this rewarding contract opportunity located near Dover, DE, you’ll support a diverse caseload of approximately 55 children at the elementary level, helping them develop the communication skills necessary for academic and personal success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating students for eligibility in areas such as articulation/phonology, abnormal voice, fluency, and language disorders
  • Conducting initial and periodic re-evaluations, and reviewing IEPs at least annually
  • Delivering individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborating with teachers and parents, offering insights and strategies to support students’ communicative needs across educational settings
  • Providing supervision as needed, depending on experience level

To thrive in this position, you will need:

  • Active Delaware State license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads a plus, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
