Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, articulating every step with empathy and clarity
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, swiftly addressing any equipment issues
• Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
