Our environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused.Summary: The Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, assists with month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive bookkeeping experience, strong knowledge of QuickBooks, and a proven track record managing financial activities across multiple sites.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.Daily bank reconciliation/bank feed categorizationMonthly/yearly journal entries and other financials close responsibilities (accruals, prepaids, depreciation, amortization)Accounting email monitoring (emergency payments, approvals, etc.)Monthly Balance Sheet reviewGeneral account monitoring/maintenanceAccounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions.Driver PayrollQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Accountant/Bookkeeper or similar accounting role.Strong proficiency with QuickBooks online.Port Pro experience preferred Experience preparing P&L statements.Experience managing accounting functions for multiple locations or business units.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:AA or BA in Finance preferred and 3 years equivalent work experience.
