Assistant General Manager

Overview Nouria Energy Corporation is a multi-generational family-owned wholesale fuel distributor, convenience store operator, and car wash operator in New England. Our wholesale and retail fuel businesses are multi-branded, including Shell, Mobil, Irving, Sunoco, Gulf, Valero, Citgo, Phillips 66, Exxon, and other brands. We supply branded and unbranded fuel to 300+ locations across New England and New York. We are a recognized contributor in the convenience store and car wash sectors within the region. Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations. Mentor team members to deliver fast, friendly service and ensure a great shopping experience for customers. Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude and ensure a welcoming store environment. Stock and replenish inventory throughout the facility; check in vendor deliveries. Complete required paperwork including shift reports, gas reconciliation, cigarette counts, and other records as needed. Assist in training and support the Store Manager as needed. Read, write, and operate electronic equipment and sales transactions; use basic computer tools. Follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work across shifts, including weekends. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and appearance of store facilities. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Minimum of one year of retail experience. General computer knowledge and ability to use electronic sales systems. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods; ability to kneel, lift, and bend up to 25 pounds (30 pounds on occasion). Must be able to read, write, and operate relevant equipment and complete required documentation. Must be 18 years of age or older; must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements Maintain physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilities. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times; ability to traverse all areas of the store.
