Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

This 74-bed skilled nursing facility provides both short- and long-term care in a warm, person-centered environment where residents are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. Currently seeking an experienced, full-time Nursing Home Administrator to join the leadership team and help guide the continued excellence of care and operations. Job Responsibilities: Maintain overall responsibility for facility operations, including availability during off-hours and weekends as needed Foster a workplace culture that aligns with the organization’s mission and values Ensure ethical business practices are upheld consistently across all departments Develop and implement a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) plan in accordance with regulatory guidelines Monitor standards of care and quality indicators, integrating outcomes into ongoing quality improvement processes Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure licensed independent practitioners are properly credentialed and compliant with applicable regulations Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for any quality measures that fall below expectations Delegate appropriate authority and responsibility to staff members to support effective operations Ensure resident rights are respected and embedded in all aspects of care and services Take an active role in incident investigations, documentation, reporting, and follow-up Oversee recruitment, selection, and hiring processes to ensure all budgeted positions are effectively staffed Lead monthly recruitment and retention initiatives, and implement programs to improve employee retention Ensure full compliance with federal and state employment laws, including EEO, child labor laws, immigration regulations, and wage and hour requirements Supervise coaching, counseling, and disciplinary processes in accordance with established policies Participate in employee terminations and ensure they are handled in compliance with legal and internal policy requirements Monitor census data, payer mix, and acuity levels to meet or exceed budgetary goals Maintain expense control within budgeted guidelines and utilize financial tracking tools to manage supply and departmental costs Requirements Bachelor Degree in health care administration, business administration or related field Licensed NHA by the state of New Hampshire or eligible for reciprocity Two years of experience working as a Nursing Home Administrator or two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a health care facility and successful completion of an AIT program Competitive yearly salary of $140k/yr plus bonus Generous healthcare coverage with HRA to cover most out-of-pocket costs Medical, dental, and vision insurance Additional pay if decide to waive health plan coverage Optional coverage: critical illness, accident, long-term disability, legal, and pet insurance Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) with 3% automatic employer contribution after 1 year Yearly wage increases Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday with weekend availability for emergencies #J-18808-Ljbffr NorthMed Health LLC
