FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Position: Floor Technician (Full Time) Location: Johnson City Medical Center – 400 North State of Franklin Road, Johnson City, TN 37604. Online applications only. Schedule: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm and 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, days may vary. Further details will be provided during interview. Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour. Essential Functions Maintains knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard‑floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operates various types of industrial floor‑care equipment and utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface. Uses the proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor‑care technician or in a related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
