Associate Director, Market Research and Analytics - Specialty Business Franchises

Associate Director leading market research and analytics initiatives across specialty business franchises at a pharmaceutical company. The role involves designing research programs, synthesizing market intelligence, and delivering strategic insights to inform commercial decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

Partner with multiple business franchises to provide strategic market insights and competitive intelligence
Lead custom research projects independently, managing suppliers and stakeholders
Synthesize research, analytics, and market intelligence data into actionable recommendations
Design and execute measurement plans to track market tactic engagement and impact
Manage research budgets, suppliers, and compliance with financial and ethical guidelines

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MA, MS, MBA, PhD) preferred
Approximately 10 years of marketing research and/or analytics experience
Experience with pharmaceutical industry data types and prescribing analytics preferred
Strong analytical reasoning, business acumen, and attention to detail
Ability to present findings effectively to all organizational levels
Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Leadership capabilities in matrixed, fast-paced environments
