ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in January 2025 and currently have a team of three. Before becoming an agent, I spent 4.5 years as a team member and six years working in claims for State Farm, which gave me a deep understanding of both sides of the business.

I come from a State Farm family — my brother is also an agent. I went to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and outside of work I love fishing, playing golf, traveling, and catching sporting events. I’m also actively involved in the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Associate with Tyler Sonka State Farm, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create relationships with new prospects to bring outside business into the agency.
• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
