Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field
• Valid Michigan teaching license with an endorsement in elementary special education
• Experience working in elementary school settings preferred

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills

What You’ll Do:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students’ unique learning needs and goals
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Provide specialized support in either a self-contained or resource classroom, based on your expertise
• Ensure ongoing data collection, progress monitoring, and adjustments to instructional strategies
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and specialists to promote student success
