About the Role Our client is seeking a talented Civil Transportation Engineer to join their forward-thinking team, offering a fully remote work arrangement. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and analyze transportation infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, and interchanges. Conduct traffic studies, capacity analyses, and safety assessments using specialized software. Develop geometric design layouts, alignment plans, and cross-sections for transportation facilities. Prepare traffic control plans, signing, and pavement marking designs. Collaborate virtually with clients, planning agencies, and other engineering disciplines. Ensure designs comply with national transportation standards, guidelines, and safety regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Transportation Engineering. Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of experience in transportation engineering design and analysis. Proficiency in transportation planning and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PTV Vissim, Synchro). Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, road design standards, and safety methodologies. Excellent technical writing and virtual communication skills.
