Step into a pivotal role supporting special education services as an interim case manager and teacher in a dynamic school environment near Burnsville, MN. Responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and overseeing the initial evaluation process for students newly referred for special education services
• Collecting, interpreting, and analyzing comprehensive data from multiple sources (observations, assessments, teacher/parent input)
• Preparing thorough evaluation reports in full compliance with IDEA, state, and district requirements
• Assisting fellow case managers to meet due process timelines, complete paperwork, and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely
• Reviewing outgoing due process files, providing feedback, and ensuring all student records are compliant and up to date
• Supervising students during bus, breakfast, and lunch duties as scheduled
• Fulfilling other related responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Valid MN teaching license in Special Education (EBD, LD, ASD, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, or Oral/Aural Education, K-age 21)
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
• Experience with collaborative work environments
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with office procedures
• Successful background check and drug screening
• Authorization to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 3 years of administrative experience
• Background working with diverse student populations, particularly in urban settings
