Front of House Manager – Touch of Italy Lewes

Touch of Italy is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager for our Lewes location.

We’re looking for a hands-on restaurant professional who leads from the floor, delivers excellent hospitality, and keeps busy shifts running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily front-of-house operations
• Maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor
• Ensure excellent service and promptly resolve guest concerns
• Manage reservations, seating, wait times, and guest flow
• Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain service timing
• Complete opening, closing, cash-handling, and manager procedures
• Monitor staffing levels, labor costs, and overtime
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization
• Ensure food-safety and responsible alcohol-service standards are followed

Qualifications

• Restaurant management or strong FOH supervisory experience
• Full-service, high-volume restaurant experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions during busy shifts
• Toast POS experience is a plus
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
