Construction Superintendent

Atlanta Remodeling & Construction (ARC) is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This is a hands-on, field-focused position managing residential projects throughout in-town Atlanta, including renovations and additions, custom and spec homes and condominium renovations. We're looking for someone who is versatile . The right candidate should be comfortable managing a substantial residential renovation or addition, taking a new home from the ground up through completion, and working within the unique constraints of condominium renovation. What You'll Do Atlanta Remodeling & Construction (ARC) is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This is a hands-on, field-focused position managing residential projects throughout in-town Atlanta, including renovations and additions, custom and spec homes and condominium renovations. We're looking for someone who is versatile . The right candidate should be comfortable managing a substantial residential renovation or addition, taking a new home from the ground up through completion, and working within the unique constraints of condominium renovation. Manage day-to-day field operations from project start through completion Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, deliveries and inspections Maintain project schedules and keep work progressing efficiently Review plans and specifications and coordinate field execution Manage quality control and workmanship Identify field conflicts and proactively work toward solutions Coordinate with ARC's internal team, clients, designers, architects, engineers and trade partners Maintain clean, organized, professional job sites Manage punch lists and project closeout Communicate professionally with homeowners and project stakeholders What We're Looking For We're especially interested in candidates with experience across multiple types of residential construction rather than experience in only one category. The ideal candidate has: 5+ years of residential construction field-management experience Strong knowledge of residential construction from demolition/site work through finishes Experience with renovations and additions Ground-up residential construction experience Strong scheduling and subcontractor-management skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Experience coordinating inspections and resolving field issues Strong attention to detail and quality Professional communication skills with clients, designers, architects and subcontractors Comfort using construction-management technology and digital communication tools Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment Experience with high-rise condominium renovations is a plus. The Person We're Looking For Technical construction knowledge matters, but so does temperament. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their projects, anticipates problems rather than simply reacting to them, communicates well, treats clients and trade partners professionally and understands that the details at the end of a project matter just as much as getting the structure out of the ground. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can adapt. ARC's work is intentionally diverse and we want a construction professional who enjoys that variety.
