Position Summary: The Human Resources Generalist supports employee relations, HR administration, employee records, leave and accommodation processes, compliance, and the implementation of People Operations initiatives. Works collaboratively with client group leaders to incorporate Human Resources expertise to support and maximize workforce performance. Uploads and maintains performance management documents in the appropriate HR systems and employee records. Responds to employment verification requests in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements. Maintains and processes leave of absence and accommodation forms, coordinating documentation and follow-up as appropriate. Coordinates and maintains short-term disability (STD) and workers’ compensation paperwork, ensuring documentation is routed to the appropriate parties. Ensures compliance with state-specific healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and employment standards across all operating locations. Coordinates and facilitates New Hire Orientation, including preparation of materials, communication, and documentation. Provide backup support to the Onboarding Specialist with pre-employment documentation, new hire paperwork, New Hire Orientation, and follow-up to ensure timely completion of onboarding requirements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field preferred. Three (2) years of professional Human Resources Generalist experience to include a focus on driving employee engagement, utilizing data to influence and support change, building and maintaining effective relationships with multiple levels of the workforce. Ability to understand and analyze data. Ability to communicate effectively. Possess critical thinking skills. Ability to think and act strategically. Ability to gain understanding of assigned client group's business and needs. Ability to develop relationships at all levels. Proficient in use of common business software and applications such as MS Office Proficient in use of ADP preferred. Ability to effectively manage projects. Possess effective time management skills. Knowledge of current laws, regulations, and compliance issues affecting Human Resources Possess investigative skills. Ability to effectively present materials and training to groups.
