Press and Shear Operator

We're expanding our Production Team in Mason, OH. Now hiring experienced Press, Shear and Saw Operators on 1st and 2nd shifts.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for operating shear, saw and brake presses, pre-setters, and other secondary metal processing equipment Responsibilities include: Maintain a safe and efficient work environment Perform in process checks on parts and minimize scrap Maintaining area cleanliness Perform work in line with quality requirements and ensure that parts are made to print Operate a forklift for daily operations Data entry on computer system Perform daily checks on machines Additional items as assigned by manager

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of ability to operate shear, saw and brake press machines Have basic knowledge of blueprint reading Ability to set up and train others a plus! EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School graduate or GED 1 year of experience operating shear, saw or brake presses and secondary equipment, or similar manufacturing experience.

EQUIPMENT USED

This position will use a stamping press, other metal forming, fabricating and processing equipment.

WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
