Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking experienced operators. Ideal candidates should have experience in machine operating, setting up machinery, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance. A comprehensive training program on the 1st shift will be provided before transitioning to the scheduled shift. Responsibilities

• Machine and perform final inspection on products.
• Make adjustments on machinery to modify heights, speeds, and feeds.
• Work from drawings and blueprints.
• Obtain raw materials before commencing job duties.
• Organize products into designated areas.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operating or higher-level assembly.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds.
• Competence in working from blueprints or drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication shops or automotive industry is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large, well-lit, and climate-controlled manufacturing floor. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicopee, MA.

The pay range for this position is $24.29 - $24.29/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
