Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary: The Communications Assistant leads the office's digital presence by planning, creating, and managing content across social media platforms. This role focuses on engagement strategy, storytelling, and connecting students to programs and initiatives.
Requirements: Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, schedule, and manage content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platformsMonitor trends and adapt content to increase reach and engagementTrack analytics and engagement metrics to inform strategyCollaborate with staff and student workers to promote events and initiativesSupport digital campaigns and storytelling effortsEngage with followers through comments, messages, and interactive content
Additional Information: QualificationsFamiliarity with social media platforms and trendsStrong written communication skillsAbility to analyze engagement and adjust strategyOrganized, proactive, and able to meet deadlinesInterest in marketing, communications, and student engagement
