• Experience: Prior inpatient and outpatient cardiology experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Manage inpatient consults and outpatient clinic duties in general cardiology
• Read EKGs and echocardiograms to assist with diagnosis
• Supervise stress testing procedures
• Collaborate with support staff, including APPs, RNs, and Medical Assistants
• Provide care for adult patients with CAD, HTN, and HF
• Support hospital rounding requirements, ensuring quality patient care
• Participate in phone call coverage after hours for patient consults

What You Need

• Valid Illinois medical license and board certification in cardiology
• BLS certification
• At least 2+ years of cardiology experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities

About the Assignment
Join a dedicated cardiology department managing adult inpatient and outpatient cases, including supervision of stress tests and interpretation of EKGs and echocardiograms. This position supports inpatient consults, hospital rounding, and after-hours call coverage, contributing to comprehensive cardiovascular care in a welcoming community setting.
