The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history. You’ll Be Responsible For Lead the grant management process, including researching grant opportunities, preparing applications, managing award negotiations, and overseeing compliance with grant requirements. Coordinate with project managers, finance teams, and grant administrators to develop grant budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial alignment with grant guidelines. Monitor grant performance, analyze financial data, and provide insights to optimize grant utilization, forecasting, and budget management. Prepare comprehensive grant reports, financial statements, and documentation for submission to funding agencies, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and risk assessment to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and efficient grant utilization. Collaborate with auditors, grantors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate grant audits, resolve financial issues, and maintain compliance with grant regulations. Stay informed about federal grant regulations, funding trends, and reporting requirements to guide decision-making, strategy, and financial planning. You’ll Need To Have Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree is a plus. Extensive experience in grant management, financial analysis, or related roles, specifically in large infrastructure projects with federal funding. Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations, compliance standards, and financial reporting requirements. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills. Proficiency in financial software, grant management systems, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
