Position Summary


The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments. This position supports the accounting team by handling day to day accounts payable functions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

This is a long term temporary assignment expected to begin at the end of June and continue through February 2027.

Responsibilities
• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Prepare and process payments in accordance with company procedures
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor files and supporting documentation
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
• Assist with month end closing activities
• Enter and maintain data within accounting and ERP systems
• Support the accounting team with additional projects as needed

Qualifications
• 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Manufacturing, food production, agriculture, or distribution experience is a plus

• Monday through Friday
• $23.00 to $26.00 per hour DOE
