Account Manager - Upstream Chemicals

- Work closely with existing and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovative solutions to maintain and grow sales within an assigned territory
- Assist with customer service and account management activities under the guidance of experienced sales professionals
- Provide technical support by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues, escalating when necessary
- Perform system analysis, interpret data, and prepare written recommendations to optimize customer operations
- Promote and support innovative technologies to build long-term customer relationships
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key customer stakeholders, including facility and plant leadership
- Support achievement of annual sales targets through professional selling, territory planning, and new business development
- Assist with sample collection and conduct laboratory analysis as required
- Ability to travel within the assigned sales territory
- Up to 25% overnight travel may be required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 pounds at chest height
- Position is safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
- Bachelors degree in engineering or life sciences
- Three or more years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
- High proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and internal business systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Proven adaptability, ethical judgment, and self-motivation
- Mechanical aptitude
