Anesthesiology - Locum PhysicianAnestray Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Cottonwood, Arizona. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.Job Title: AnesthesiologistLocation: Cottonwood, ArizonaSchedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate: $262 - $283/hrResponsibilities for an Anesthesiologist:• Provide anesthesiology coverage for daytime OR and endoscopy procedures, along with scheduled night call and 24-hour call shifts• Deliver anesthesia services for approximately 3,000 OR cases and 3,000 endoscopy cases annually• Provide anesthesia support for approximately 500 OB deliveries per year• Perform OB anesthesia; current OB anesthesia experience is required• Administer propofol infusion for endoscopy procedures• Manage anesthesia for common case types including geriatric fractures, urology, general surgery (excluding bariatrics), advanced breast cancer surgery, and total joint procedures• Cover OB, OR, and endoscopy during nights and weekends as needed• Collaborate with CRNA support staff and nursing team; CRNA support is always available• Manage a patient census of approximately 4–8 patients per day across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics• Utilize Cerner EMR for clinical documentation• Complete required Cerner training/orientation (approximately 4 hours, remote) prior to start date• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology• Maintain active Arizona license or IMLC Letter of Qualification• Maintain active DEA registration• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications• Comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements• Complete medical records in a timely mannerBenefits for an Anesthesiologist:Weekly pay every FridayComprehensive Professional Malpractice Insurance24/7 Recruitment SupportFull-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel TeamReferral Bonus up to $5,000Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
