Broker Sales Manager

Job Summary Responsible for the execution of the HealthSpring Medicare strategy for local topline sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker down-line sales within the market for the book of business they manage through training, relationship management, member retention and sales growth. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 4 years health insurance sales experience OR Master's Degree with 2 years health insurance sales experience OR 8 years health insurance sales experience Experience managing broker and/or field sales staff Experience in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals Knowledge of the health insurance industry, the producer community and Consumer Markets products Marketing skills Consultative skills Training skills Interviewing and selection skills Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills, building relationships, developing and facilitating presentations and interviewing Knowledge and skills of PC applications such as Microsoft office and databases Possess an active department of insurance license from the state of residence or reciprocity Preferred Requirements: Experience with Medicare products (Including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Supplement products) Adherence to CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines and procedures Customer features, benefits and Medicare & Medicaid knowledge preferred HCSC Employment Statement: We are an Equal Opportunity Employment employer dedicated to providing a welcoming environment where the unique differences of our employees are respected and valued.
