Advanced Care Technician Cna We are seeking a compassionate advanced care technician to support patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse. This role involves providing essential comfort and basic care to patients across infant, pediatric, and adult populations within a dynamic healthcare setting in the pacific northwest region. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to unit safety and infection control protocols. Deliver comfort measures and assist with patients' daily needs, including meal assistance. Record and communicate vital signs and observations such as temperature, pulse, weight, and fluid intake/output to supervisors. Clean and prepare medical equipment, reporting any issues promptly. Assist with patient transport as needed. Prepare formula in the nicu department when applicable. Qualifications Act: preferred 3-6 months experience in an acute care facility. Act-float: preferred 1 year of acute care experience. Nicu department: required minimum 2 years cna experience with strong pediatric background preferred. Basic computer proficiency is required. Ability to read, speak, and follow instructions in english. Familiarity with electronic charting is preferred. Education Must hold one or more of the following upon hire: Current certified nurse assistant certification Licensed vocational nurse Military corpsman Nursing student who has completed fundamentals including initial assessment and vital signs Certification Current bls certification from the american heart association healthcare provider required upon hire. Nvci certification within 90 days of hire or transfer for specific departments. Annual continuing education credits related to work are required in lieu of licensure maintenance. All candidates must successfully complete a physical evaluation, drug screening, and background checks prior to employment.
