What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based internal medicine care within the Value-Based Care Clinic
• Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track, mentoring residents in clinical, research, and quality improvement projects
• Supervise internal medicine residents in a collaborative, academic environment
• Incorporate social determinants of health and community-engaged approaches into patient care
• Use population health tools, risk stratification, and care coordination strategies to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, and community partners
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, journal clubs, case conferences, and educational workshops
• Lead efforts to reduce healthcare disparities and enhance community health equity
• Support operational plans to improve clinical processes and standards

What You Need

• Medical license in Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Experience in primary care, population health, or value-based care preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience mentoring residents
• Expertise in health equity and community-centered medicine
