The Front of House Manager supports the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations and delivering a consistently warm, polished guest experience. This hands-on leader is present on the floor, develops the front-of-house team, maintains service and operating standards, and helps drive strong financial and cultural performance.

• Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service from opening through closing.
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor, anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns thoughtfully, and build relationships with regular and new guests.
• Coach, train, and develop hosts, servers, bartenders, support staff, and other front-of-house employees.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate service priorities, menu updates, events, reservations, and operational information.
• Partner with culinary leadership to support accurate, timely service and strong communication between the dining room, bar, and kitchen.
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance feedback, and employee relations in partnership with the General Manager and People team.
• Monitor reservations, table flow, pacing, staffing levels, and floor plans to maximize the guest experience and business performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist with inventory controls, ordering, cash handling, payroll awareness, labor management, and administrative responsibilities.
• Review guest feedback and operating results, identify opportunities for improvement, and help implement practical solutions.
• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all guest-facing and front-of-house areas.

• At least two years of restaurant management or supervisory experience; upscale, chef-driven, or high-volume restaurant experience is strongly preferred.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, team development, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong floor leadership with the ability to remain composed, decisive, and solutions-oriented during busy service periods.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, labor management, food safety, and responsible alcohol service.
• Comfort using restaurant POS, reservation, scheduling, and reporting systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications as required by law and company policy.
