Your Mission

Your mission is to build strong General Managers who operate clean, profitable, well-staffed restaurants that deliver excellent guest experiences.

You will set clear expectations, coach your leaders, remove obstacles, and hold each restaurant accountable for results.

Most importantly, you will help your General Managers become stronger, more confident business leaders.

What You’ll Do

As a District Manager, you will:

• Lead and support a group of Burger King restaurants
• Coach, mentor, and develop Restaurant General Managers
• Build strong leadership pipelines within each restaurant
• Recruit and retain high-quality management talent
• Establish clear performance expectations and follow through consistently
• Drive sales, profitability, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence
• Analyze restaurant financial statements and key performance indicators
• Improve labor management, food cost, inventory control, and controllable expenses
• Ensure restaurants meet food safety, cleanliness, service, and brand standards
• Conduct productive restaurant visits focused on coaching and improvement
• Develop action plans for underperforming restaurants and leaders
• Recognize strong performance and celebrate team success
• Partner with company leadership to execute operational priorities
• Protect the company’s people, guests, assets, and reputation

You will balance support with accountability and urgency with thoughtful leadership.

Previous multi-unit restaurant leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Experience developing General Managers and improving underperforming restaurants is especially valuable.

How You’ll Lead

Our District Managers are expected to lead through:

Ask the right questions, provide clear direction, and help General Managers build the skills to solve problems independently.

Set clear expectations, inspect what matters, and follow through consistently.

Celebrate progress, acknowledge strong performance, and make sure great work is noticed.

Communication

Keep restaurant leaders informed, aligned, and focused on the priorities that matter most.

Example

Model the energy, professionalism, urgency, and integrity you expect from others.

Your leadership should be felt even when you are not physically inside the restaurant.

Own the Business

As a District Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the complete performance of your district.

That includes:

• Sales trends
• Restaurant profitability
• Labor productivity
• Food and paper costs
• Inventory and waste
• Staffing and turnover
• Guest satisfaction
• Speed of service
• Food safety and cleanliness
• Maintenance and restaurant conditions
• Leadership development

You will help each General Manager understand not only what their numbers are, but what actions are driving them.

Travel and Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Travel regularly between assigned restaurant locations
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
• Be available during mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary
• Respond to urgent restaurant situations as needed
• Stand and walk for extended periods during restaurant visits
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Work effectively in fast-paced restaurant environments

This is a field leadership position. The most effective District Managers spend meaningful time inside their restaurants, working directly with their leaders and teams.
