About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Legal to take on a pivotal executive leadership role. The successful candidate will be the senior-most legal leader, with direct exposure to the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors. This highly visible position is responsible for leading the legal function, serving as the primary legal advisor, and overseeing a wide range of legal operations, including commercial contracting, compliance, corporate governance, and strategic transactions. The role involves close partnership with the C-suite, private equity sponsors, and business leaders to support the organization's growth, expansion, and navigation of complex legal and regulatory matters. Applicants for the Vice President of Legal role at the company should hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and have active bar membership, with a strong background in commercial transactions, corporate matters, and executive leadership support. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in contract negotiation, business counseling, and leading complex legal, regulatory, compliance, or risk management initiatives. Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, private equity-backed environments, or high-growth companies is preferred. The role requires the ability to assess risk, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, as well as strong leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset with a practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving.
