CNC Lathe OR Swiss Machinist – Operator / Setup OperatorResponsibilitiesCNC Swiss OperatorOperate CNC Swiss machines in a production environmentLoad raw material and monitor machine performance during production runsPerform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and comparatorsRead and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructionsMake minor tool wear offsets and adjustments as neededMaintain production quality and efficiency standardsTroubleshoot minor machine or tooling issuesFollow all safety and housekeeping proceduresCNC Swiss Setup OperatorPerform machine setups, tooling changes, and job changeoversSet tooling, load programs, and verify first article inspectionsEdit offsets and make adjustments at the machine as neededTroubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issuesOptimize cycle times and improve production efficiencySupport operators during production runsEnsure parts are manufactured to print and quality standardsQualificationsExperience operating and/or setting up CNC Swiss machines requiredExperience with Fanuc controls preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and work instructionsCTD112 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
