Product Engineer I - Plainfield, IN

Entry-level product engineering role supporting high-volume medical device manufacturing at Medtronic's Plainfield, Indiana facility. Responsibilities include investigating production issues, analyzing manufacturing data, and implementing improvements to sustain product quality and operational performance. Requires onsite work five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production-related technical issues affecting product performance and quality
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
• Support testing methods, procedures, and validation activities for product and process performance
• Evaluate customer returns and product issues to determine root causes and improvements
• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams on engineering changes and investigations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 0+ years of engineering experience
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at time of hire
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Root cause analysis and corrective action methodology knowledge preferred
