Office Services Specialist

Make a Difference in Your Community St. Louis County's Department of Revenue seeks an **Office Services Specialist** to join their Recorder of Deeds team. This position will perform complex office duties in support of a defined technical function requiring the application of in-depth knowledge of state and local statutes, ordinances, and codes. Learn more about the program: Public Service Loan Forgiveness | Federal Student Aid Essential Function Examples Monitor and respond to messages in the public‑facing email inbox in a timely, professional manner Monitor customer service tickets and communicate with appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution of tickets Verify, update, and process information and documents based on technical knowledge of relevant policies, statutes, ordinances and codes Interact with the general public and County Departmental contacts under adverse conditions as necessary Provide technical assistance and guidance to employees and the general public Marginal Function Examples Prepare reports, summaries and documentation for use at meetings and for processing paperwork Process and maintain written and computerized records Perform other duties as required or assigned Qualifications Equivalent to three years or more of professional work experience in a general office environment. The work rules for the Department of Revenue require all employees, whether they reside in St. Louis County or elsewhere, to remain current in the payment of their personal and real property taxes.
