BHC in Tempe, AZ is seeking a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist to work full‑time days on a 12‑hour shift within our team of compassionate professionals. The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions including assistance in the processes for managing patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant health care providers, organizing, facilitating, and coordinating the timely evaluation with therapists, insurance verification, and data entry. Job Duties / Responsibilities Answer phones and collect demographic information for prospective patients. Coordinate and process patient documents and paperwork for patient transfers. Ensure all required information is accurately documented within multiple information system programs. Preferred 1–3 years of work‑related experience, including knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnosis symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age‑specific growth and development, and crisis and behavior management.
