Step into the lead seat of our turning operations

Each morning in New Kensington, PA, you’ll open Esprit, load up a new part model, and translate customer specs into elegant, efficient code. By mid-day, you’re on the floor dialing in a Nakamura lathe, validating your process with a first-article that heads straight to the QC Manager. In the afternoon, you’re coaching an operator through a setup changeover, squeezing seconds from a cycle, and keeping the department humming. Four days a week. Ten hours per day. One expertly run CNC turning cell at a time.

• High-level programming and process optimization for CNC lathes to maximize part quality and throughput.
• Creation of CNC programs with Esprit to exact customer requirements, including robust tooling, workholding, and sequencing strategies.
• Independent setups from program to production, ensuring repeatable precision.
• On-machine validation and continuous uptime improvements for CNC lathes.
• First-article inspection submission to the QC Manager for approval.
• Training, guiding, and supporting operators; serving as the technical lead for the CNC department.

4 days per week, 10 hours per day.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 7+ years of machining/programming experience or State Journeyman papers.
• Fanuc control programming expertise.
• Esprit 3D CAD/CAM programming proficiency; Mastercam experience a plus.
• Strong problem-solving instincts and solid communication and basic math skills.
