Our Electrical team provides assurance, testing, inspection, and certification for a variety of electric products, including appliances, consumer electronics, lighting, medical devices, information communications technology, HVACR, industrial, and energy transmission and distribution. Our dedicated professionals help ensure the quality, safety, and sustainability of electrical products used by people throughout the world./ph3What Are We Looking For?/h3pThe Senior Sales Representative position supports the Electrical business by direct sales activity including increasing existing sales and identifying and developing new business opportunities within an assigned territory/accounts. Were looking for somebody who is self-sufficient with an entrepreneurial approach in their work. The Senior Sales Representative will spend at least 50% of the time outside of the office visiting clients, attending trade shows, etc. This is an in-office position - non-remote./ph3Salary Benefits Information/h3pThe base wage or salary range for this position is $70K - $110K. In addition to competitive compensation packages, Intertek employees are eligible for a variety of benefits including paid time off and paid holidays./ppOur Sales Representatives are offered base pay plus monthly bonus eligibility based on sales goals./ph3What Will You Be Doing?/h3ulliSell Interteks services within assigned vertical, account, and territory through effective client research, prospecting, and networking./liliWork with Sales Manager to define and develop territory to increase new and existing sales./liliSpend a minimum of 50% outside interface with new and existing identified target clients./liliMeet with current and prospective customers via client presentations and participation at trade shows./liliWrite and follow up on proposals, specify appropriate standards and pricing./liliProvide outstanding customer service./liliMeet all activity targets and log activity into iConnect, as required./liliPrepare sales reports and forecasts, as required./li/ulh3Minimum Requirements Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliMinimum 3 years of prior successful sales experience/liliSuperior interpersonal and customer service skills/liliB2B or B2C sales experience/liliExperience working with CRM tool/liliPossess excellent written and oral communication skills and superior presentation skills/liliMust be energized and self-motivated and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment/liliWorking knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint/liliAbility to travel up to 50% of the time, which may consist of local or regional daily travel, with some requirements for overnight travel as required/liliValid unrestricted drivers license and reliable driving record/liliPhysical dexterity/mobility to travel via car, airplane and to perform all clerical functions inherent to the position/li/ulh3Preferred Requirements Qualifications:/h3ulliBachelors of Business Administration or relevant technical field/liliSales experience in medical industry/li/ulpThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details.
