Location 615 Chestnut Avenue,Towson, MD, 21204,United States Base Pay $24.00 - $28.00 / Hour Employee Type PT Non-Exempt Required Degree 2 Year Degree Description This position provides support to the Director of Human Resources in the areas of Recruitment, Onboarding, Benefits, Employee Relations, Compliance, Safety and other administrative duties. This is a part-time position with some benefits with a weekly 24 hours. Job Requirements Associate degree in Human Resources, Management or other Supervisory role with HR/Payroll functions or at least 1 year experience in Human Resources preferred At least 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting Job Functions Conduct initial screening for any viable candidate by phone or via HR Software Schedule interviews with viable candidates for all departments Conduct pre-employment and post-employment screenings including licensing, background checks, reference checks, certification, OIG, and drug test) Draft offer letters for new hires and sending out via email or mail prior to orientation Participate in hiring event, job fairs and other recruitment events Assure that all open positions are updated and timely Conduct general orientation in the absence of the Director of Human Resources Complete I-9 forms within 3 days and filing of I-9 Forms Follow up with new hires after 30 and 60 days Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination when possible Assure all new hires receive onboarding documents and all are signed and completed Prepare personnel and medical files for employees; ensures that the files are complete with required information Email/mail letters to employees related to employee benefits, license expiration and terminations when needed Update license and certifications in the system monthly and as needed Update merit grams for all employees in the system Update tracking of FMLA, Accommodations and Workers Compensation for employees Assure that workers compensation claims are reported timely and followed up on in the absence of the Director of Human Resources Maintaining employee personnel records and tracking of selected information related to personnel Filing of personnel documents Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee information #J-18808-Ljbffr
