Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Striping Crew Foreman to lead pavement marking operations on roadways, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. This role is responsible for supervising the striping crew, coordinating equipment and materials, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on striping experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on schedule. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily activities of the striping crew, including laborers and equipment operators Read and interpret plans, layouts, and specifications for pavement markings Lay out striping patterns using measuring tools, chalk lines, and templates Operate striping equipment, paint sprayers, thermoplastic applicators, and related machinery Ensure markings are applied accurately, cleanly, and to required thickness and standards Coordinate delivery and preparation of materials, equipment, and supplies Set up and maintain traffic control and safety zones per DOT and company standards Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, equipment use, and safety practices Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce PPE and safe work procedures Maintain accurate records of production quantities, labor hours, and material usage Communicate effectively with management, inspectors, and clients to address project requirements or issues Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements 2+ years of experience in pavement marking, striping, or related construction field 1+ years in a supervisory or lead role preferred Strong knowledge of striping equipment, materials, and application methods Ability to read and understand blueprints, site plans, and specifications Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area Physical Requirements Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods: Constantly Moving about to accomplish tasks at a worksite or moving from one worksite to another: Constantly Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, such as stooping, kneeling, or crouching: Constantly Adjusting, moving and lifting objects in all directions: Constantly Talking and hearing to communicate with others: Constantly Seeing to perform job duties at close range, such as monitors or screens: Rarely Seeing to perform job duties at a distance, such as driving or operating equipment: Occasionally Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers: Constantly Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like: Occasionally Operating machinery and/or power tools: Constantly Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment: Constantly The ability to travel regionally or nationally: Never Physical Demands Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing: Constantly Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds: Constantly Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds: Constantly Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more: Occasionally Working Conditions Low temperatures: Occasionally High temperatures: Occasionally Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind: Occasionally Noisy environments: Occasionally Hazardous conditions: Rarely Shift work, to include overnight work: Occasionally Frequent overtime, including weekends: Occasionally Office environment: Rarely Pave America and it's companies offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
