Creative Strategist

We are looking for a TikTok Shop Creative Strategist to lead the creative and content strategy for TikTok Shop across multiple markets.

You will be responsible for identifying what works on TikTok, turning trends and product insights into strong creator briefs, reviewing content before publication, and helping build a scalable content engine for TikTok Shop.

The ideal candidate understands how TikTok content drives product discovery, engagement, and sales. You know what makes a video feel native to the platform, how to brief creators, how to evaluate hooks and storytelling, and how to adapt content for different markets and audiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the TikTok Shop content strategy across target markets

- Monitor platform trends, viral formats, and TikTok Shop best practices

- Create clear briefs and content concepts for creators and production teams

- Review and approve content, ensuring strong hooks, storytelling, product presentation, and platform fit

- Collaborate with e-commerce, marketing and creative teams to support commercial objectives

- Adapt content approaches for different markets, audiences, and product categories

- Analyze content performance and translate insights into new testing ideas and creative improvements

- Develop scalable content frameworks, guidelines, and best practices for TikTok Shop

Requirements

- Experience in TikTok Shop, social commerce, creator marketing, short-form video, social media strategy, or performance creative

- Strong understanding of TikTok content mechanics, trends, hooks, formats, and creator-led storytelling

- Ability to turn trends and product insights into practical content briefs

- Experience briefing creators, UGC creators, editors, designers, or production teams

- Strong eye for content quality: visuals, pacing, structure, storytelling, product demonstration, and call-to-action

- Ability to review content and give clear, constructive, and actionable feedback

Hiring Process

1. HR Interview: Don't sweat too much! This call is just so you can get acquainted with our mission, values, and culture, as well as the team structure and role expectations. Just be yourself, and you'll do fine!

2. Test Task: We want to see you in action! You'll be given a few days to complete a short test task just so we can see how you think and give you a chance to show off your skills.

3. Manager Interview: In this interview, you'll get to meet your future boss. They'll want to hear about your skills, past projects, and how you'd tackle the specific challenges of this role.

4. Final Interview: At this stage, you'll meet with senior management and cross-functional team members to discuss career goals and clarify any remaining details about the role.
