We are looking for a licensed, disciplined Armed Security Specialist to protect our clients' assets, employees, visitors, and property through vigilant patrols, surveillance monitoring, and fast, decisive response to security breaches.

What You Will Do

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to ensure a secure environment.
• Monitor and control access to the premises, checking identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation.
• Safely and responsibly carry, maintain, and use firearms as necessary to protect against threats.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security equipment to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
• Document security incidents, accidents, and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Enforce security protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Administer first aid and CPR if required and trained to do so.
• If necessary, provide testimony in court regarding security incidents.
• Work closely with law enforcement and emergency services when needed.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Scheduled shift is 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, Sunday through Saturday (7 days a week), totaling 35 hours weekly.

Who We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or training).
• Valid state-issued armed security officer license and firearms permit.
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.

Compensation

• $28/hour starting pay.
• 90-day probationary period, with a pay review at completion. Based on performance, pay may increase up to $30/hour.
