Life Point Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our Red Bank, New Jersey location. Our practice is composed of skilled professionals, including two licensed Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all dedicated to creating a supportive environment for recovery, healing, and overall wellness.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite engagement within our facility, providing an immersive atmosphere where you will collaborate closely with your colleagues. Our physical therapy practice is housed within our 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility, equipped to cater to a variety of orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation needs. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enjoying a structured schedule that allows for focused patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient objectives, tailoring treatment plans to address specific needs.
• Manage a focused caseload, typically treating one patient per hour, to ensure high-quality care.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment strategies that promote mobility and increase range of motion.
• Provide non-invasive treatment options and educate patients on how to minimize their reliance on medications.
• Craft comprehensive care plans utilizing diverse therapy techniques that best suit individual cases.
• Develop personalized fitness and wellness programs aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to deliver exceptional, individualized patient care.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize functioning and recovery.
• Encourage strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through integrated rehabilitation practices.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor progress, and maintain precise documentation of all patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, which allows for tailored treatment plans that truly cater to the patient's unique needs. You will engage with a diverse clientele, including athletes, postpartum patients, and individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries. By focusing on individualized care and evidence-based practices, your contributions will significantly enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) being highly desirable.
• Valid Physical Therapist license to practice in the State of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions from the licensing board.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated competence in developing and executing effective exercise protocols suitable for orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with WebPT EMR Software is advantageous for streamlined documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, equipping candidates with the competency to handle diverse cases and patient needs.
• Familiarity with current best practices and innovative treatment modalities in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
