HR Clerk & Receptionist

Job Summary

We are seeking an HR Clerk & Receptionist for a direct hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR within the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for an organized, professional, and service-oriented individual who enjoys being the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and callers while also supporting key Human Resources administrative functions.

The HR Clerk & Receptionist will help maintain a welcoming front office environment, support smooth communication across the organization, and assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee files, and general HR clerical tasks. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to grow in an administrative and HR support career path while working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the main phone line, route calls appropriately, and provide courteous assistance to callers.
- Greet visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Organize, maintain, and update office documents, correspondence, and employee-related records.
- Support Human Resources with recruitment coordination, onboarding paperwork, employee file maintenance, and clerical tasks.
- Assist with internal communications and help ensure office information is handled accurately and confidentially.
- Maintain a professional front office presence while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $13.50 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage reception, front desk communications, visitor assistance, and incoming calls.
- Support Human Resources administration, including recruitment, onboarding, employee file management, and clerical duties.
- Organize and maintain office documents, correspondence, and HR-related records.
- Assist with daily office coordination in a fast-paced administrative environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in administrative, clerical, or human resources support roles.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and document management practices.
- Familiarity with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee file maintenance.
- Understanding of confidentiality standards, HR principles, and employee relations processes.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
- Professional communication skills and a courteous, service-focused demeanor.
- Ability to multitask while interacting effectively with employees, visitors, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience in a fast-paced office, reception, customer service, or HR support environment.
- Prior experience supporting Human Resources functions in a production, manufacturing, or similar business setting.
