Job Overview A law firm seeks an International Employment Associate in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in employment counseling, with a preference for international experience. This role involves supporting cross-border and global employment work, advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions, and interacting with global offices. Duties Conduct employment diligence and advise on corporate transactions. Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements. Advise on employment policies, practices, and employee terminations. Draft restrictive covenants and counsel on employee mobility. Provide comprehensive employment law advice to diverse clients. Requirements 3+ years of employment counseling experience, preferably international. Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred. Strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school. Education JD from a nationally recognized law school. Certification Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction of application. Skills Effective verbal and written communication. Ability to analyze complex legal issues logically. Strong relationship-building and client management skills. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks under pressure.
