Magento Developer

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Magento Developer to join the Platform Support Team, with deep expertise in Magento and a strong foundation in modern PHP frameworks. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys maintaining scalable eCommerce solutions, integrating complex systems, and working across a diverse PHP ecosystem. You will play a key role in developing and supporting high-performance applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain scalable web applications with focus on Magento Extend and customize Magento functionality to support business requirements Build and maintain integrations with third‑party systems (CRM, ERP, payment gateways, etc.) Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs Work with data formats including JSON and XML Contribute across the stack, including front‑end and back‑end development Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and design teams to deliver high‑quality features Participate in triage, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes Troubleshoot, optimize, and help scale existing systems Required Qualifications Strong development experience with Magento Solid understanding of modern PHP frameworks such as Symfony and/or Laravel Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and SOAP services Hands‑on experience with third‑party system integrations (CRM, ERP, etc.) Proficiency working with JSON and XML data structures Ability to troubleshoot complex code and business logic Ability to work with and query MySQL / MariaDB databases Willingness to work across multiple PHP‑based platforms as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience with CMS and PIM platforms such as Drupal, Pimcore, and/or Joomla Front‑end experience with Vue.js (preferred) or React Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills Familiarity with Composer, Docker, and virtualized environments Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Lambda, S3) and/or Azure Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices What We’re Looking For A problem‑solver who thrives in complex, integrated environments; someone comfortable navigating multiple technologies and platforms; strong communication skills; a proactive mindset with attention to detail, performance, and code quality; familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications) or equivalent hands‑on experience; 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining Magento and PHP‑based applications. DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Compensation Salary range: $74,000.00 – $111,000.00 USD. Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant skills, and prior experience.
