Job Details: Job Location: Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station - Coraopolis, PA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Position Title: Quality Control Manager Area of Requirement Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, Coraopolis, PA 15108 Scope of Position Manage contract quality control and implement quality and safety plans across all functional tabs. Maintain inspection, training and deliverable controls that demonstrate compliance. Lead the site quality management system and provide an independent assessment of performance across the contract. Use risk-based inspections, customer feedback and system-generated metrics to identify deficiencies, verify corrective action effectiveness and support Government surveillance. Coordinate with functional managers and the safety organization without assuming their operational duties or approving corrective actions arising from the manager’s own audits. Tasks and Capabilities Required Maintain the quality control plan for the entire contract and all tabs. Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections; record results, communicate deficiencies and track corrective actions. Keep training and quality records current and review deliverables for completeness and timeliness. Remain dedicated to quality assurance and coordinate Government surveillance findings with the Program Manager. Develop monthly risk-based inspection schedules, including randomized spot checks and service-specific checklists. Review audit results weekly; track open deficiencies, root causes and corrective actions against the proposed seven-day remedy commitment. Compile monthly quality metrics for the COR using Government system reports and the secondary CMMS. Maintain inspection evidence, revision-controlled checklists and quality records in the SharePoint document index. Support MICT self-assessments, corporate quality reviews and 30-, 60- and 90-day startup checks; coordinate safety trends with ESH without conducting ESH field inspections. Mandatory Experience and Certifications ISO 9001 certification, as stated in A3.1 and A-TE-9. Capability to inspect contract functions and administer quality and safety plans; no minimum number of years or degree is stated. Additional required capabilities and onboarding Demonstrated experience developing inspection/audit plans, documenting nonconformances and verifying corrective action effectiveness. Ability to use electronic inspection records, performance dashboards and controlled document repositories. Maintain required on-site core-hour coverage and after-hours availability for the assigned position. Read, write and speak English fluently when interfacing with Government representatives; provide current qualification records for verification. Complete required background/access processing, HSPD-12 credentialing and applicable onboarding/safety training before the assigned duties; complete the proposal’s Lautenberg certification process.
