Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.Essential Job Functions:Assist in the delivery of safe and accurate pharmacy servicesPromote trust and respect among associatesCreate an environment so customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the storeLabel, stock, and inventory department merchandiseReport product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department managerDisplay a positive attitudeRecognize company insurance programsAbility to operate computer systemInput data accurately into the pharmacy systemAdhere to all local, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to the practice of Pharmacy and health and civil code regulationsEnsure compliance with all state, county, and local weights and measures laws and labeling requirementsGather and record information needed to fill prescriptionsFile written prescriptions after dispensedHelp pharmacists prepare prescriptions by counting/pouring medications, labeling containers, and pricing prescriptionsProcess insurance forms and verify paymentsKeep counter and work areas clean and organized at all timesTake medication to shelvesReceive refill requests from patients over the phoneObtain and protect patient health informationLearn about over-the-counter drugs and answer customer questions in accordance with federal guidelines.
