• Schedule: Ongoing shift coverage; minimum 5 shifts per month (could be more or less); 8 guaranteed hours per day; overtime applies after 8 hours; 24-hour weekend call (beeper); 2 providers requested
• Job Setting: Inpatient
• Types of Cases: General Anesthesia (Adult, Pediatric); Spinal Anesthesia; Regional Anesthesia Surgery; Central Line Placement; Arterial Line Placement; Complete Ortho; Pediatric; Regional; Thoracic
• Credentialing: Estimated 15-30 days; temporary privileges available; active CA license required; DEA required; clean files preferred — providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges; RFA, CV, and 24 months of relevant activity required; completed application and references on standby required
• EMR System: Epic
• Patients Per Shift: 7-10
• Call Details: Beeper call; call response time 20-30 minutes; call coverage for both hospital and clinic

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
• Certifications: BLS required; fellowship required
• Licensure: Active California license required (IMLC not accepted); DEA required
