Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs, histories, and family dynamics, followed by developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client.

• Facilitate therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, catered to individuals, couples, and families.

• Work collaboratively with clients to set measurable goals for therapy, actively monitoring and adapting these goals to reflect progress and changes in circumstances.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including training sessions and workshops, to stay informed about evolving therapeutic practices and best-practice standards in hospice care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be working with patients facing serious illnesses, providing bereavement support and psychosocial care to both patients and their families navigating the complexities of end-of-life challenges. We prioritize compassionate communication and emotional connection to empower clients and enhance their quality of life, focusing on their emotional and spiritual needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Possession of a valid and active LICSW license in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in individual and family therapy, with a specific focus on clients dealing with chronic or terminal illnesses.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to connect with clients and their families empathetically.

• Capability to operate effectively both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
