Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) Full Time Tampa, FL Lab - 0000, Tampa, FL, US 8 days ago Requisition ID: 1094 The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for performing and analyzing the results of the complex scientific tests. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Preparing and running calibrations and QCs on analyzers Monitoring quality control measures and protocols Running patient samples (serum, whole blood, urine) Reviewing and reporting of results Maintaining laboratory logs Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Qualifications, Knowledge and Competencies Qualifications: Certification by ASCP, AMT, or AAB, Medical Technologist License (or Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist) in State of Florida and laboratory experience. Knowledge: Beckman AU700, Beckman DxH560, Beckman Access 2 Competencies: Technical Capacity, Decision Making, Problem Solving/Analysis, Results Driven, Pipetting #J-18808-Ljbffr LabX Diagnostic Systems
