Hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.ResponsibilitiesAnswering accounts payable incoming and outgoing callsEntering any invoices with purchase ordersOccasional customer billingCoding all internal credit card statementsPaying all vendors with credit card/supplier payRequesting check payment for vendors who do not accept credit card paymentsDaily close out functionsAnswering accounts receivable incoming and outgoing callsAnswering any overflow phone callsMaking sure customer insurance is not expiredAssisting the controller with reconciliations and month end close tasksQualificationsAssociates or higher in accounting is preferred or equivalent experienceTwo years of experience in an office / clerical positionExcellent phone, verbal and written skillsWorking knowledge of office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machineWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelGeneral accounting knowledgeThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
